Below are photos of us visiting Skywalker Ranch, where we visited the LucasFilms team and got to read the script in their board room. I really wanted to take a photo of the script, but I was afraid they had cameras in there so I didn't. We did get to spend the night on the ranch over several nights. I slept in a bungalow next door to Stephen Spielbergs bungalow. We got to tour Skywalker Sound, ate food grown on the ranch (drank wine from Francis Ford Coppola wines vineyard, which I believe is next door to George Lucas's ranch.)
During the game development process, we would work with the Star Wars IP team and archivists. One of the games was about building Jedi Knight lightsabers with Kyber Crystals. (which happened to be the same colors as Skittles.) When we asked them for some Jedi Knight names and light saber designs, they said they were too busy with the post production for the movie, so they told us to come up with some designs and names. So - I submitted "Dando Urguson" as one of the names. An obvious play on my name and they approved it! The LucasFilms archivist told me he added it to a database of approved names for the movies.
So I am pretty proud of being part of Star Wars canon.
